University Law

Universities in the legal space

Universities are usually large institutions with a complex internal structure and a specific environment. Systemic processes, internal legislation, university bodies, accreditation. All this and many other aspects are regulated in university law. Universities are of crucial importance not only in relation to students, but they are also an important partner of the business environment and municipalities. They contribute to the development of their regions and co-create our future.

In my expertise, I focus in particular on the following:

  • The internal organization of the university (faculties and other units of the university, service departments)
  • Property relations of the university (management of university property)
  • University bodies and their powers (Rector, Academic Senate, Administrative Board, etc.)
  • Employment relationships at the university
  • Internal legislation of the university (internal regulations, directives, decisions)
  • Disciplinary agenda (disciplinary regulations, disciplinary proceedings)
